Before your first visit

A few practical questions to help you make an informed choice.

Bowen Studio ·

The first visit starts before any hands-on work. It starts with knowing what is being offered and having room to ask questions.

Ask about the practical things

Before agreeing to a session, ask about the practitioner’s training, the length and price of the appointment, and the cancellation policy. If you need step-free access or a different position on the treatment table, check this ahead of time.

Your comfort is part of the conversation

You can ask for an explanation before touch, request a change of position or stop the session. Consent is an ongoing conversation, not a one-time formality.

Keep health information private

The public booking form is for contact details and appointment preferences. Do not use it to send medical history. Ask how any sensitive information will be discussed and protected before sharing it.

Leave with clarity

Ask what is being proposed next, why, and at what cost. A session should not come with a promise of a guaranteed result. Bowen does not replace appropriate medical evaluation or treatment.
